Imbali

Our family is truly a family of the world. My husband and I are both South Africans but have travelled and lived in many countries.  Our first child was born in Australia, our second in Hong Kong and our third is London.  We have finally settled in Charleston and are all so in love with where we have landed.

I started my fashion career as a buyer for a retail chain in South Africa buying Kids, Babies and Pets Home categories.  Fast forward a few kids and some different surroundings and a close family friend and my business partner suggested we start a brand in the US.

Imbali means flower or blossom in Zulu (a South African Language) and is based on our travels and local inspiration.  Our designs are all original and often collab with local artists to showcase their talent in a category they wouldn’t ordinarily have access to.  When people buy my brand, I want them to know they are buying something special. Great quality and fit in amazing fabrics with brilliant designs.
